Lovely photo, Rupert, and they are gorgeous birds. I agree with Robbo though. Birds often seem to believe a reflection of themselves in a mirror is a competitor for their territory and it distracts them from spending their time, especially in the winter, feeding up as much as possible. Perhaps you could find a cloth or opaque bag to fix over the mirror when you do not need it and let the waggie get on with more important things--finding enough food before dark each day,
