How can someone be so cruel!

Unfortunately, France used to have glue traps for songbirds (in the name of 'tradition') until very recently. Despicable.

Sometimes it is hard to believe what cruelty there is in the world, totally outrageous behaviour causing an animal to suffer like that; as for overseas countries who continue to use traps/mist-nets, etc for illegal purposes, it would be better to starve them of our "tourist dollar" and visit other countries instead (once Covid is more under control) forcing pressure on the governments to do more to prevent the illegal trapping of birds.
