I can't find any others for this year, so have started this with a funny one. We have moles taking over our garden, notably our lawn, so each day Ron goes out & levels the mole-hills & knocks them down. Yesterday we went out & found this, quite small but perfectly formed! LOL
We couldn't decide if it was a one-finger salute or a new recruit to the Close Encounters fan club.
Here is a link to last years thread https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/200154/mainly-mammals-2019/1285660#pifragment-4285=1
Or a phallic symbol!
Joking aside, brilliant photos and link noted.
Who needs a lawn H ... sprinkke some wildflower seeds around to fill in the gaps & attract more butterflies etc!
"Now if I found that after me pinching the soil I could understand it:-)"
I wouldn't mind, but they don't dig in the area of lawn I'm turning into veggie plot. I have to do it all by hand & they turn out lovely soft soil elsewhere, they must be very strong.
Grey Squirrel, from this morning's walk.
We suddenly have multiple Grey Sqiggles visible in trees at top of cliff but oh so very difficult to get pics, so fast & need full zoom, imagine the problems?
