The following were taken at various points this afternoon, some from the lounge and some from outside sitting in the sun.
Whilst having a late lunch the Moorhen reappeared.
One of the female chaffies
On the fence a woodie with its headless friend
The Moorhen reappeared on the pond.
I sat down to watch some bees on a trailing rosemary in flower, they love it.
A little more pond weed clearing and I found this owl pellet, you can see small feathers in it.
And back to the rosemary
Never mind the bees knees, its the bees bum
A Corvid in one of the silver birches.
Another chafe on the lawn
And then being photobombed by a blackie
I suspect Sun will not be such a good day weather wise.
Lovely photos again Tony, and nice spot the owl pellet.
I once found an owl pellet while out walking with some scouts on a map and compass exercise. When they first understood what it was, I was treat to a chorus of yuk's!
However, after spending a little time with them, carefully showing what the contents were, they became fascinated.
