Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

Now that would have been nice, Gaynor, but sadly Kingfishers generally seem to avoid me. :-(
Lovely to see your wee Chaffinch. We seem to have more of them in the Garden this year, or it could just be that with all the chaos this year, I've just been at home more often to notice.
Tony: Lovey Sprawk shot, we generally only see males here.

Lot to learn
Good video Michael, well done. Lovely photos Tony, that stare indeed! Can't wait for that video Gaynor! Linda, you like me will have to still be content with the 5 mile limit for leisure, at last we can visit a garden now with two households, but only 8 people. Me thinks a long wait until we get that nice lunch out or a drink in the pub though!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Magpies and tender!
Somehow, they don't seem to go together, but they do, and fabulous photos Linda.

When she does it'll be worse than a free-for-all, I'd stay locked in.
It's been murder here, because many folk are going to places they wouldn't normally, but because their places are still closed, they've nowhere else to go!
A lucky shot, I wasn't actually setting out to get a flying squirrel, and at such close proximity, I didn't expect to get anything other than the apple tree laves!
