    Thanks all,

Good to see you back again Christine and how's the ringing going ?   You must have picked up an amazing amount of information on birds as you learn.

what is LBJ's and LRJ's that Tony quoted?

LBJ  is Little brown job often attributed to the beautiful Dunnock but not sure what LRJ  is unless it is Little red job meaning robin so you'll have to wait for Tony   lol

  • Lovely set Hazel, and nice info on a new area to visit (haven't checked where it is yet, but guess f it's local for you it won't be for me lol.)
Love the Nutty, and as others have said the wonderful splash of Bully colour brightens the darkest of days.
  • Lovely selection of birds Hazy, a nice looking area to visit too with great sculptures to greet you. The sparrows in the garden tend to wallow in the earth here in the garden, they seem to dig themselves into a hollow and just love it. Lovely pics of the Goldcrest and all the tit family, and good to know there were so many Lapwing around.

    Lot to learn

HI CL I tend to refer ro LBJs Little Brown Jobs if unsure of bird ID and in Hazys there there were Robin & Bullies so called them LRJ, Little Red Jobs. Its also laziness in not typing names out in full.
