Kestrels in the Quarry 2020 ...Colin's back on 23rd July

  • On this diabolical day of storm Brendan wreaking his havoc I came across Colin @ 13.52 in nesthole ... poor record pic through wet d/glazing as wind was trying to carry cam & tripod away outside!  He flew off shortly after but has since returned & currently still sheltering (16.13) but too murky for any more pics!

  • Good to know he's there Wendy but what miserable weather for all birds and wildlife, not to mention humans lol

  • Hello Colin, nice to see you again and on such a terrible day. Please keep coming regularly.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • Good to see him sheltering in the nesthole Wendy, at least he has somewhere safe to rest in this horrid weather.

    Lot to learn

  • Caught sight of Colin in nesthole @ 11.48 this morning & from his lengthy preening session it looked as if he'd had prey ... two vids, quite lengthy to record his actions
