Nice set Tony and glad you and Mrs Tony had such an enjoyable day out with the waders and ducks; think we will all be needing waders of a different kind if the rain keeps up any longer - my feet were beginning to turn webbed lol

Thanks Hazel, its started out glorious but it ended very wet. We've had a lot of rain this past week but no where near the amount I guess you've had "up north"

Cheers Nigel, it was a great few days with very mixed weather but as usual plenty of birds and well over 12+ Curlew at the different sites.

Thanks Alan, the N Norfolk coast you can see many, many Curlew all along at the various reserves and wetlands. I still wonder whether any are Whimbrels, struggle with ID between them.

Thanks Alan, unfortunately its a 90 min drive up to Titchwell but I like the idea of the Costa coffee sighting, just a shame Costa makes such rubbish coffee! We saw Waxwings in Jan in trees next to the bus station in Bury St Edmunds which is just 12 miles up the road. I do follow that twitter feed but had not looked for awhile now and the Hawfinch twitter feed.
