An afternoon at the Coast

Had a visit this afternoon to South Shids to walk along the pier at the southern mouth of the Tyne, in the hope of seeing one of the Red Throated Divers that hve been viewed over the last couple of weeks. Today was the first day in a while that we have had decent visibility and the prospect of zero rain. All went to plan apart from the oversight on the shutter speed as the Diver took off - see the Bad Pictures of fab Wildlife thread.
