Where's Wally?

This is, of course, Walter Rail. Not the Walter Rail, I hasten to say, just a Walter Rail. Hopefully, you won't have too much trouble spotting him or my photography skills have failed.

This is the first of the season for me as I only tend to see them well enough to photograph in late Autumn and Winter.

It fancied the grass on the other side (of the channel) for some reason but the colourful reflections gave a nice autumnal backdrop

One of the few benefits of having so much rain recently as it normally wouldn't have to swim this

Doing a Heron impression

I seem to have put my knees on backwards this morning

Nope, the grass was greener, so I'm off over there again

A few other random shots - I didn't have time to take the converter off for this Greenfinch

A shiny Teal

A female Mallard in the reflection of a reedbed a few minutes before sunset

The same sunset

The usual Cormorant roost has been under water for a month so they are taking advantage of whatever they can find
