And I thought I could experiment more with my camera and the resident Little Egret

So, merrily snapping the egret, in comes a heron!
Well, that ruffled the Egrets feathers
But the heron didn't care
But he grew bored, and departed
So back to the egret, but a duck decided to show off
Then I got distracted by a flash of colour by the other bank…..
then, as I moved closer I heard a splash, and lo and behold, I forgot all about egret...
Peek-a-Boo
You have something in your moustache!
And then, if that wasn't enough, a distinct peeping sound from my right,
Needless to say, I've bought my lottery tickets for tonight, as this must be the luckiest day of the year!!!
Thanks Wendy
It's the Stour at Blandford, in Dorset. The stretch I walk up and down goes from Morrisons car park to M&S car park (other food suppliers are available)!
Cracking photos PB, and sooooooo jealous of the otter pics....

Wendy, take it from someone who's spent a lot of time outdoors, in all weathers.
Visit a reputable outdoor retailer, have a look at heir base layers, synthetic ones are good, but if you want that extra warmth, then look at merino wool. The named brands are genuine merino wool, some of the budget ones are not full merino wool.
They will keep you warm, and if you get too warm, they wick away the perspiration nicely, so you don;t feel wet and get a chill, one of the pitfalls of cotton.
If you can afford it, then consider a mid-layer as well, better than a sweat shirt.
I've avoided suggesting any brand names, but if its deemed acceptable, I'll happily share the info.
