I am not sure what this winged beastie is, at first I thought Cinnabar Moth but am not totally sure.
Tend to agree with Tony, Cinnabar aren't spotted
Though I'm no expert on moths, but that is definitely a six spot burnett moth.
There are basically two types in the UK, five spot and six spot, easily identifiable by the number of red spots when at rest.

There is also a Narrow-bordered Five-Spot Burnet so beware! Also in the Six-Spot the 2 spots furthest from the head (N°5 &6) can join up to make it appear to have only 5 spots. Not so easy!

You're welcome.
It's only because one of the reserves I visit have a plethora of six spot burnett moths that I can recognise them so easily.
