  Really enjoyed all the wonderful photos on this thread. It is the best time of year. My photos are very poor in comparison.
  Hope to post some of my housemartins in a few weeks and we also have sparrows nesting in a terrace box.

  Hi Firecrest, doesn't matter how good or bad the photos are we all like to see them so looking forward to seeing pics of your House Martins and Sparrows. It's certainly a busy time for all the nesting birds and new fledglings.

  Thanks Hazel. Hopefully I will be able to obtain some photos that are at least recognisable as birds :-D. Meanwhile, I will continue to enjoy all the lovely photos on here.

  Just catching up with all the newcomers - fantastic youngsters from you all, Lapwing, Bluies, LTT's - looks like it could be a good year in our gardens.

  The blackbirds have a pair of spotty teenagers following them around the garden, being introduced to my bird table and shown the best places to forage for bits of apple and peanut dropped by the parakeets (messy eaters).

  Nice Hazy, I haven't seen any Great Tits yet, and just the odd Blue Tit but no young. I think the Sparrows are on their second brood.
