Waterfowl Breakout!

For some strange reason, I'm unable to reply to the "Videos anyone?" thread, so I've had to post this video separately. It might be browser issues here or it could be the rich text problem on the forum, I don't know

The video is on my YouTube channel for those who want to view it, called Waterfowl Breakout!

It was quite a strange phenomena, a whole host of waterfowl started to leave the water for no apparent reason, they certainly weren't feeding and it looked like they were just content to be out of the water, even though it wasn't that cold, nor was it rough on the water.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be interested to know.

For the technical, I used a Canon 750D Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens on a tripod.

  • Hi Bob,
Thank you for your reply, I perhaps should apologise, for I'm only viewing the video on a small screen, so I'm happy to be told off.
In my ignorance, I never realised wigeon to be land feeders.
I've still a lot to learn, and appreciate the feedback.
