3 days of sunshine & Butterflies galore. Well, not really but we did see 3 Brimstones a Red Admiral & a Peacock. I did get a shot of the Brimstone flying, but I think trying to photograph Butterflies in flight is one of the first signs of madness. Anyway, it's high time I started this thread.

A nice butterfly collection. I think they are on their last legs further north as sightings are now getting much rarer.

Everyone one else has been getting Green-veined whites, so I'll put one up, too
It's not one of their best well-known features, but I think butterflies have beautiful eyes.
Still getting Speckled wood in very good condition in my garden

Went to Swanage today, still a lot of whites about
Plus occasional Painted Lady and fewer Red Admiral
Large Whites taken yesterday.
