This fellow landed in a tree just in front of me the other day and kindly waited for me move around until I had a clear view, with no twigs in the way ...
… and then sat calmly ignoring me while I edged close enough to almost fill the frame
Then, he dropped down to the path. He'd spotted a worm from 30 yards away! The worm didn't put up much of a fight but, once again, I was permitted to creep closer while he consumed it although not quite as close as when he was in the tree, as he was noticeably more nervous on the ground.
Also had some lovely woodland birds
And some beautiful robins singing their hearts out
