Hi all, you may have remembered from my last post that I was getting married -well we did it on 25th July! It was lovely day -bright skies followed by a great meal at 15 (Jamie Olivers). I was dreading the photos part, but we had a great photographer who put us at our ease, getting us to clamber over rocks and paddling on the beach ! Photos will not be ready for another 4-5 weeks so I will see if there are any worthy of showing you, lol! For now you will have to settle with photos of wildlife from the past few weeks -firstly the gorgeous pair of Peregrines who fledged a few days after this photo, I saw them a few days ago flying with a parent bird, so fantastic to eventually see them fly after watching them from eggs!
a cute juvenile LT Tit
and Songthrush
I don't see foxes very often down here, so this one was a real treat!
beautiful Kestrel hovering
Seal chilling, Godrevy, Hayle
Shag nest-I was surprised how intricate it is close up
Gannet flyby
GC Grebe with chick
and one of the highlights for me (apart from getting hitched) was seeing this stoat,I've only seen them a few times and never been able to get decent photo
Best wishes, Jayne
Many many congratulations on your wedding Jayne and so glad the weather offered up bright sky for your special day; I love the sound of the setting for your photos too - proper romantic with the seashore, rocks, paddling and look forward to the photos in due course !
Now for the wildlife .... ! your photos never disappoint with those stunning captures and range of species, simply fabulous.

Congratulations on your wedding, Jayne. Sounds like you had perfect weather and a stunning backdrop for the photos of your special day.. Looking forward to seeing them.
Great set of wildlife photos but the one that really caught my eye was the Stoat bounding along the pebbles.
Congratulations on your wedding Jayne & best wishes for the future. Your photos are beautiful & always make me homesick for the seaside, the last photo of the stoat is amazing.
Many thanks to you all for the lovely messages-glad you enjoyed sharing my good news and photos

Very many congratulations from me too Jayne, so glad the weather behaved and look forward to any photos, paddling on the beach , sounds idyllic. Love the photos, especially the LTT and the Stoat.
Many congratulations on your wedding Jayne, and you have some very nice pictures but I do love your stoat pictures.
Congratulations on your wedding and where else could you have had your wedding photos taken?! Look forward to seeing a photo. As ever, you have posted a fabulous selection of photos. They are all lovely but I especially like the juvenile Long Tailed Tit and the cute little fox!
Congratulations on your wedding, Jayne. A lovely selection of shots as always. We’re all looking forward to the wedding photos; I’m trying to imagine what you’ll both look like scampering across the pebbles with your ears up, or floating in the surf with youngsters on your backs. :-)
