Hartington and River Dove 6-8-2018

Had a very nice day out with Hazel and Mike and saw some very nice wildlife, I got there just befor 8:00am Hazel and Mike 5 mins later, we set off and not long into the walk I caught sight of a Hare in a field to our left so this is my first picture the rest I am getting ready now, so will add more as I get them ready.

  • Brilliant capture Jim, you did well spotting the speedy Hare as it scampered across to the wall.  Looking forward to the Dippers and other shots now.

  • Thanks Hazel, as you know I only had one chance before it got to the wall and bush's.

Some more from yesterday, first Dipper and it was a young one sadly it was on the other side of the dove and in shade but managed a couple of pictures.

    Young Grey wagtail.

    Mallard Ducklings.

    Female Mallard.

    Wall Butterfly

And this was my first picture of the day not the one in my first post I though it was a hare till I took the picture :)

  • Those are very nice Dipper shots Jim and can't wait for the others to come;   the Wall Brown is beautiful.
