    I know folk who already have them on their local patch and gardens are not always happy to see them but I can't help but smile when I see these noisy, tropical looking parakeets -  will proably change my mind like I did with Grey Squirrels once they reach my Cheshire garden   lol

    Ring Necked Parakeets are sweet and entertaining but also a concern for the owners of vineyards.  The current harvest in England is one of the best ever and climate change promises more good harvests to come, provided that various problems including the Parakeets do not ruin future harvests.  I wonder what tactics are used to deal with the birds--by netting off acres of vines?  Anyone know?
