Lovely shots of the reed bunting and redpolll Alan, we have had redpoll today and a very surprising first for the garden today, a reed bunting landed on the lawn briefly with a few chaffinch but flew off to quickly for a picture. In 20 years living here I've never seen a reed bunting in the area, not even down by our small river. Took me awhile to realise what it was so out of context on the lawn. The days they are a changing.............

Just wait till you sample the L.Moss breakfast - with fresh mushrooms ! ..... although you will have probably had brekkie in the hotel before then; you'll be pleased to know the reserve is open at silly o'clock lol can go in any hour of the day - or night !
I was speaking to mate while waiting for train this morning and she said the Silverdale area is lovely and you get some lovely sunrises and sunsets..and the food in the Silverdale hotel isn't bad either.
You will get to see some lovely sunrises Hazel when I coming Knockin on your door at 5am.
