  • Thanks Hazel and Gaynor, it was a bit wet underfoot, especially in the woods as the moors were draining. Still, a nice day out and I never bore of the red deer.

    Yes Hazel, really lovely captures of Reed Buntings , Dunnock, female Teal and Mallard.
    One question . Do you think I should offer some grit to my balcony birds ( Great- and Blue Tits, House Sparrows and Goldfinches? Or do they find enough of that in the city grounds, parks and playgrounds?
