Thanks for that info H, just been reading about both on UKMoths, weather a bit cooler but still sunny forecast for couple of weeks ... who knows what will come over from your shores? Still hoping for Convolulus!

We had 4 around the flowers 2 nights ago, amazing!
Ron spotted this pretty moth when we were out on Sunday, in English it's a Purple-barred Yellow, & they don't seem to come to light, I haven't seen one out & about for at least 5 years!
We're hoping for rain tonight & if it does we're off in the camper for a few days break from watering the garden! Keep your fingers crossed!
Best wishes

FOUR!!! At least one of those should have come to mine! Lol
Don't get Purple-barred Yellow over here apparently!
I wish you rain, we're having more tomorrow!
I've no idea what this is so I'll leave it for the boffin's to decide. :-)

Possibly Autumnal or Turnip ... H will know!

Got one of those today to go with a rather delicious looking bit of Haggis....Yum.!!
Lol, you wouldn't find this Turnip quite so tasty ... bit on the powdery side! Lol
Just had first peek at Elephant HM pupa ... made himself a cosy nest all woven with silk

Turn it up gently & see he's used some kitchen paper as well
Have put a wad of new kitchen paper on base of pot to keep his tootsies warm during winter in the shed!
Deleted ... wrong thread!
