A 3 minute compilation of the year so far... it's never good when you hear the word compilation and the music is a bit dramatic but copyright free :)

That is a fabulous compilation of the year so far, and I liked the backing music, thank you for sharing.

The house sparrows, a very noisy bunch and the term I understand for a gathering of sparrows is "a quarrel", which seems very apt when you watch them....
House Sparrows gathering and flittering as they come down to feed and back up to the bushes, before repeating the cycle again, and again...

Thanks Tony. Not sure which one you mean as the video is 3:11 long. Definitely not a bustard. You may mean the young pheasants.

Ah, of course, thanks. The close-up of just the head threw me.

gaynorsl said:Good to see your Sparrows feeding and lovely to have such good cover for them to dive into if any predators swoop in. I don't think they are quarreling, just chattering!!!!!! I used to have up to 100 of them feeding in the garden, and coming back down the lane listening to their happy talk was just lovely. Gone down to about 30 now, shame but maybe numbers will increase again one day.
Generally they are chattering and often fly in harmony on to and off the feeders, but they do have their squabbles, which gets very interesting.
