Thanks Alan. They were on the approach to Chatsworth on the top consecion path, before Stand Wood. I thought I'd probably see them in the park but it was a surprise to see them that far up and out, a pleasant one as they were obviously less spooked and closer. Went over Big moor and managed to stay on route this time, obviously saw the red deer up there, no surprise there.

I find it fascinating how birds manage to keep focused on their lunch when the elements are against them.
Someone pasted a clip of a kingfisher keeping its head focus on the water while the branch it was on was moving.
