Not often you will get a Jay to come within a metre or so ............ another few quick clips of the Great and Blue Tits plus the Jay and his fellow corvids enjoying the food treats. I put a ground tray out this time so could take these clips on my old iPhone5. (there is fresh potato in the meaworm bowl - in case you were wondering what that is - have to feed mealies too ! )
Three clips from today. The roe deer will always have a special place. Also a very iffy place for blue tits to nest and my local nesting kestrel.... still on the nest.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thanks Catlady. I'm guessing the first of the kestrel eggs must be hatching, A few weeks to see the young ones I presume but I'm no expert.
Left the camera rolling this morning in the local valley to see if there was any progress with the nesting kestrel. First time I've seen kestrel chicks, 4 quick clips joined together.
