Love 'em all!! What I want to know is how on earth do you all keep the video so still, OK I know you are using a tripod, but even trying it out in the kitchen I find I'm all over the place when the birds move trying to keep up with them, or maybe I should just fix on one and hope it stays put for a while!! Anyway going back to my chat with Alan yesterday I went out today with the dogs and sussed out the tree trunk I think might hold a mouse or such, and there is a lovely hideaway just about two yards away that I might be able to tuck myself behind and practice a video anyway. Just hope I don't scare anyone else dog walking - or even the kids absconding from the local school:-)
Lot to learn

HAZY said:Lol, now I'm really jealous saying the Weasel was too close for a video !!!
This is what I was on about Hazel...these clips are taken at 100mm and 6ft away.

Speedy little fella, so well done on capturing him. You ought to treat him to a tin of cat food to makes sure he doesn't get too addicted to carbs.

I might try him with a bit of dog food Wednesday, it may encourage him to stay and eat it.
I'll google to see if it's ok for them.
Sry, been hectic morning with tree surgeon here doing safety survey and seeing what needs trimming or taking down !
I see what you mean Alan, that's one lightening fast Weasel and its amazing you managed to get him on video. What a lovely animal it is and he/she has a real taste for that pastry lol

That's a great video Alan, he/she is loving your pastry. It's fabulous to see a creature out in the open like that as usually they are so hard to see.

Here's one from this morning especially for Alan, it was handheld and Nutty was quite close so excuse the wobble lol
best played on higher quality setting by clicking cog-wheel in bottom right hand corner once the video starts.
Nice one. I don't think I've ever seen a nuthatch sit still for so long, especially with those tasty morsels right at its feet. Perhaps it's not so fond of being served frozen food in such a normally reputable restaurant!!

Fancy making the poor little thing sit on a block of ice lol.
It's a lovely video Hazel, as Nigel says I've not seen one sit that long before.
lol Nigel, sometimes the Nuthatches just go into semi hypnotic stare mode, not moving much, just blinking ....... unless this one had its feet frozen to the log lol
