Robin's new supply of waxworms came yesterday, poor little soul doesn't have a big enough beak! Lol
We've just come up to Leighton Moss for 3 days and first job on the agenda was to go find some baby robins for Paul lol FMR wasn't in his usual place so expect he is nearer to the female nesting site and we think this may be him as we found this family of robins at his old haunt just a little further up the track from sky tower.
The area was so dark in this wooded area I didn't even think the photos would come out as they lurked in the shadowy undergrowth and then up on a twig in an equally dark area ! tomorrow I will take the extender off the 100-400mm and see if I can get a bit more light on the subject. For now, here are the record shots of what may be FMR and babies !
