I'm taking care of pigeon who lost the ability to fly cuz one of her wings are broken but her injury already recovered, tbh i don't know alot about pigeon I'm just giving her water and food and she's staying on large cage, after taking care of her for about 9 months i have never heard her voice i though she lost the ability to talk but these days I'm hearing her screaming at night and i don't know why? Is it because she feels lonely? I didn't let her walk on my outside house cuz i though she will feels sad seeing all flying birds while she can't, but after hearing her screams i don't know what's the best for her can u advice me?
Hello Jawaher, good for you that you have rescued and are looking after the pigeon. I would suggest that you look for a rescued centre near you for pigeons, the bird may need specialised treatment and may need to be with other of its kind.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
First, I presume it is either a ferrule pigeon (the type that frequent town and city centres and major public areas) or a wood pigeon, often seen in the urban garden, rather than a racing or specifically bred pigeon.
A pigeon is a wild bird, so should not be kept in captivity.
Help should have been sought from a veterinary surgeon or an organisation like the RSPCA in the first place, which would have a plan to return the pigeon back to its habitat once it is able to look after itself.
Pigeons are a social bird, so there is a good chance the pigeon you have is feeling lonely, and certainly doesn't have any other pigeons to interact with, which will be why it's quiet. If you were to live on your own, and have no other human contact, you likewise would become quiet and introvert.
The advice would be to talk to the RSPCA with a view to rehabilitating the pigeon back to its habitat, if it is possible and not too late.

Thanks for your help, i search up and it's called Eurasian collared dove,unfortunately on my country there is no organisation or centers for pigeons and i barley even found veterinary who accept to treat her and thanks for him we saved her life but she's completely lost one of her wings so there is no hope for her to take care of herself, this kind of pigeon is very common on my country and they are everywhere and people here really don't care about pigeons souls

I am, as are most here, familiar with the collared dove, we have a pair that visit our garden.
Can you share with us your home country?
I will understand if you can't.
As for pigeons rather than doves, they tend to get overlooked here in the UK, mainly due to their high population numbers here, as with virtually everywhere else because they are so successful living on our mess as human beings. That could be the case where you are, the collared dove numbers are overly high.
