Yes, though probably doesn't do it justice today. A lot of 'green' in the photo, but from closer up, there is a lot of colour. Foliage is mostly the bulbs, but with a small amount of lawn and at the back is the cow parsley patch, but with other Spring stuff like hellebores. I was slightly further back to avoid having a neighbour washing the vehicles in shot.
Can't decide on insect species so went with the flower!!!
Similar part of the garden.
Snowdrop/crocus patch today, compared to the three prev photos.
A useful combo, making use of space before the rhubarb gets fully up to speed.
One of the new cowslip patches, almost entirely self sown. Should be good in a couple of years, esp building on other areas of the lawn.
This patch is outside the kitchen window. Good for early bumblebees. Early bumblebees (species name but works for either meaning) like the lungwort, as do hairy footed flower bees. Garden bumblebees and buff tails prefer the hellebores.
Robbo great garden shots of all the flora and fauna you have going on there through the months
Bet there are lots of buzzy insects in your garden and it will add to your photo album
Regards
Kathy and Dave

Yes, former home owners (>10 years ago) knew what they were doing and were ahead of their time. Huge numbers of bees, and I remembering saying so when we house viewed in April that year.
