Guess the Xmas Gull Quiz!!

Looks like a Kittiwake to me Seymour (but we all know how rubbish I am!)

Kittiwake. A gull so beautiful Limpy won't acknowledge it as a gull.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I love that Clare, I always think they have such a beautiful face

Both are Gull Spp

So I'm offering Common Gull for the preening bird but it's not a confident offer as I am struggling to tell leg colour

the leg colour on the LH bird is greyish - note the covert patterns mantle shade and primary projection
