help identify this bird

The beak looks very long for a garden warbler and the paler iris also looks wrong. How about juvenile barred warbler?

Or maybe not!

Which country was the photo taken in? The closest UK species is reed warbler or far scarcer marsh warbler IMO.

definitely an Acro:

the feet look a little pale but the light is very bright in places and I can't see pale Primary tips so
I'm in the Reed Warbler camp

It was taken in Kent, England. August 2022. Not near any reed beds. It was in a big garden adjoining farm land

Latin abbrev Acrocephalus. As it's UK, fair to assume it's a reed warbler.

Reed Warblers turn up in odd places on autumn migration - one in a city centre tree near a car park springs to mind...
