It was 'just' a contact call Scylla, usually made when they land on the nest - sort of saying . 'hello nest''. Like they do the eggs and the chicks when they've been off the nest for whatever reason

Haha, I typed "was it a contact call?" and back-spaced it out, cos I'm usually wrong! (EDIT - hours later I see that I didn't backspace it out at all - I musta thought I'd bear the scorn
