anyway , does anyone know why I am suddenly getting ''sound's'' when I have Glaslyn nest open as if I am receiving messages but do not have any intrusive side flashes to indicate so. And does anyone know how I can stop these sounds.
What I usually do is the following (if you know this.. please ignore)
On the message button on the top corner you'll get the screen below.
When you hover over the grey area a blue mark appears, click that and 10 of the message will be set to read at one..
So 10 clicks, for 99 helps a bit.
Also below that is a 'MUTE" button.. that seems to have helped getting the unwanted lines down

I do thank you Bart. i thought I'd been forgotten. OK , so I've found this very useful but not answering the tinkling music that has kept happening without a message flashing in from the bottom of my screen on the right hand side.. As happens it hasn't happening today so I'm hoping whatever caused it has stopped ? I appreciate your response
I think you mean from the YT channel stream?
That could be from the streaming computer of glaslyn.
They usually use OBS or something like that, and if they include 'system sounds' into the stream... there you go.. magical notifications!!
