Washington Wetlands has been closed because of bird flu, since Friday just gone. I know the full detail about this. But I won’t say any more as Washington Wetlands have only mentioned the closure at Washington Wetlands because of Bird Flu on there Facebook website and no more details given about the reason. So I won’t say any more at present!

Ian.

I'm afraid not such news at Washington Wetlands as an exclusion zone is declared in parts of Washington, including Washington Wetlands as reported on the local ITV News covering the Tyne-Tees area. But the local ITV news haven’t reported everything or maybe don't know everything. If anyone wants to know anymore. PM me!
Regards,
Ian.

This is now getting nearer to home!

Bird flu discovered in a person in South West England. This is not unheard of. But is very rare.
