You beat me to it with Cornwall.
Hopefully, leg permitting, I'll be down there the end of this month on holiday, with my wife, and had been watching the news feeds on this. I will, where sensibly possible, tread carefully, though a great many places, like Penzance, will be full of gulls.

No worries about stealing my thunder, I'd rather see multiple posts than none, plus, I may not have seen it.
I do wonder how much of the sudden spread is due to it being peak holiday season and Cornwall having such a high footfall during August.
Both me and my wife will sensibly make the best of our holiday, and monitor the Avian Flu situation once we're down there, and it will determine what places we visit and which we don't.

Just had an email to say that Martin Mere WWT in Lancashire has been temporarily closed to the public in order to protect their resident and incoming migrants from bird flu, another update due on Monday. it appears to be the only WWT that is closed in UK.
