I think we just had a Hoopoes in our garden this morning in Plymouth on the South coast.
Seems pretty rare, think we were very lucky.

Great to see a hoopoe in your garden Paul, the last one that I heard about was one in West Yorkshire and it was on a cricket pitch and I got talking to a chap who made a special journey to photograph it and he showed me the photos he had taken on his camera, I would love to see one myself.
