Lots of blackbirds in the garden at the moment. Some of them are copying the smaller birds and trying to use the feeder. Haven't seen that before.
This was a nice surprise this morning ...

Looks like the new box maybe a success.
Oh how lovely, the are sussing out the new box, fingers crossed that it will be used in the spring.

The blackbird was a little too big to access the feeder ports properly. It tried to be a humming bird but I think that required too much effort. Didn't stop it hogging the port though!
If you felt a mini earthquake today no need to worry only me running up a field with cows on my tail!!!
Just looked normal from the top..flooded from the clyde
But as we got to the bottom the cows were blocking our gate!!!
Didn't take them long to head towards us
I ran as they picked up speed....jeez that my workout done for the year!!
Never seen the cows up here before....
