This time of year is very good for silhouettes, whether accidental, or taken on purpose, sometimes silhouettes can be just as good as any picture.
One such picture is shown here, a Blackbird, which is a silhouette, but is still a very nice picture

I've not been too well blessed with the right light for a silhouette photo, but the sunrise on Sunday 30th looked promising, but never aspired, though it did facilitate a nice pinkish effect, and a silhouette of a magpie on a neighbours tree.
