what is this?

This person appeared in a flower bed this morning. What is it? In the Collins guide it looks to be some kind of warbler but it has a greenish-yellow tinge all over it, top and bottom, which the ones illustrated do not have. More like a greenfinch in that respect though it is clearly not one. Wrong beak.

Any thoughts?

Definitely a warbler, and looks to me like a chiffchaff but best to wait for someone more experienced than me

Thanks for all that, Warbler it is though I note that there appear to be umpteen versions of them...........

I don't think I have seen one before, at least not consciously (here in the Isle of Wight) but then I have not been looking for them.
