The path to the beach is closed (from 26 July) but there are still lots of things going on at Titchwell for families this summer and they are all free!
If you are local to the reserve or a visitor to our fantastic Norfolk coast and countryside why not bring the kids during the school summer hoildays? No computers, no Nintendos..... just the great outdoors and a chance for children to enjoy some fantastic wildlife.
From 19 July and every weekday until 3 September (except August bank holiday Monday) we have a whole host of events taking place in our picnic area. Owl pelleting, pond dipping, mini-beasting, badge making and mothing are just a few of the activities we have organised for children this summer.
If you don't fancy any of these there are competitions, nature trails and guided walks to enjoy. Entry to the reserve and all of these events are free and for most of them there is no need to book. You can find out more detals about them here.
During the beach path closure, entry to the reserve will be free and the visitor centre, cafe and shop, fen hide and trail and meadow trail are all open as normal. Our bacon rolls and carrot cake are legendary!
Pop in and say hello you won't be dissapointed!
