Is Saltern Wetlands actually an RSPB reserve yet in Cleveland and is any visiting allowed. I've seen no mention of that as a reserve on the RSPB reserve visiting list on the RSPB website.

Saltern Wetlands, on the north bank of Greatham Creek to the west of the A178-Tees Road, is still under the ownership and management of the Environment Agency. RSPB is negotiating with the Agency to take a long lease on this area. The new flood bank that skirts around the northern boundary is a public right of way and therefore there is good access. Once under RSPB management this access will not change.
