I believe that the bird hide at the RSPB reserve Dorman's Pool, which is part of an extension of Saltholme, belongs to Teesmouth Bird Club and members of that organisation have a key for that hide outside of normal opening hours. Can members of the RSPB buy the key as well from that organisation who arn't members of Teesmouth Bird Club, as i live just outside Newcastle Upon Tyne and i'm to far away to want to be a member of Teesmouth Bird Club.

Dorman`s Pool belongs to RSPB but the Jeff Youngs hide at Dorman`s Pool does belong to Teesmouth Bird Club. We have agreed access for TBC members to Dorman`s Pool under a licence; the same as they enjoyed with the previous landowners. Under that agreement, RSPB members can use the hide whenever it is opened i.e. during reserve opening hours or when it is occupied out of those hours by a TBC key holder.
There is no agreement for RSPB members to be able to buy a key from TBC but we will seek their opinion on this.
