Our reedbeds are obviously full of food as the young Marsh Harrier in the video has now been in the area later in the year than any other Marsh Harrier ever! Last year another young bird looked like it was setting up home for the winter but was forced on by the snow and freezing weather. This year we've yet to see a blanket of white and so this chap has battled on and is now a daily occurence at one part of the reserve or another. Head up to the Haverton Viewpoint or have a stakeout in the Wildlife Watchpoint for your best chance to see him.
