Lucky enough to witness courtship and mating today. Never seen actual mating before. Managed to get a few quick shots of the only time in the open - some shown here and a post coital shot! Photos unaltered, just cropped, only a bridge camera, but like to share the pics as I was the only one to see it.

Thanks for the kind comments. Was there today, only for a couple of hours. The male was trying to get fledglings out and he didn't feed them (he went into nest with a fish once but came out with it). He did pass a fish to the female once in the open. We were thinking that maybe 1 fledgling had come out and was in was in the left bushes as the male kept going there with a fish and calling. We heard a bit of chatter between them but no fish was passed, we saw the female seperately. But no visual confirmation, odd goings on. Looks like fledging Sunday - shame , as I can't make it!
