Come and visit your local nature reserve and enjoy the redwings and fieldfares feasting on hawthorn berries and get your daily dose of fresh air . We know how important getting into nature is during this difficult time and the positive impact nature has on our health and wellbeing. The reserve trails are open for you to enjoy following social distance guidance (one household or to meet up with one other person).
Here's a quick summary of what is open for now:
 Car park open (9am-4pm, £4 for non-members)
 Staffed, Covid-secure, welcome point (10am-4pm)
 Trails open (9am-4pm)
 Toilets open (10am-4pm)
 Take away refreshments available to purchase, card payment preferred
 Hides closed
 Reserve remains closed on Saturdays
 Please note: Rye Meads will be closed 24, 25, 26 Dec and 4 and 5 Jan.
 When visiting us please observe current guidance around social distancing, group sizes, hygiene and follow all signage on-site.
 We ask that all visitors, except those who are exempt from doing so, please wear a face-covering while in our toilets.
 Access restrictions - New River Bridge closed until 24 December. Pedestrian walkway available for access. The diversion for vehicles takes you down Essex Road, Pindar Road, Normandy Way and Fishermans way.
