There's lots happening on the reserve this weekend!
There's a Wildlife Watch from one of our hides from 12 noon to 2 pm on Saturday so you can get help spotting and identifying wildlife. No charge and no need to book.
There's also a Wildlife Explorer Club for children aged 6 to 11 on the Saturday 11 am to 1 pm. First timers welcome and you don't need to be a member. Booking essential please - call 01992 708383. The theme this month is the Big Beasty Hunt - you'll be looking for animal tracks and signs on the reserve.
We also have an exhibition of art by Alan Harris and Steve Kershaw and photos by Tom Mason, so bring your pennies and buy yourself or someone else a lovely Christmas present. The exhibition is in the classrooms all weekend. Sunday is the last day so don't miss out. (All the staff are poorer as a result - there's some lovely stuff ranging from £1 upwards).
And, always a chance for the glossy ibis - it's not been seen these last couple of days but you never know!
The other event this month is a talk about Peru by Tom Mason - 23 November 5.30 pm to 7 pm. You can book by calling the number above. £3 for members, £6 for non-members.
