Hello
The hot topic this week is still the Glosssy Ibis. Although he has been much more mobile and elsuive this week, giving many people who are still trying to spot him the run around and he has clearly found some secret location to visit. On Monday and Thursday there was no sign of the Ibis at all, Wednesday he spent around an hour with us at lunch time, but Tuesday was the day to be here. He turned up around 10 and spent lots of time feeding along the fence line, he also had a good fly around in the early afternoon checking out the surrounding area circling low over my head a number of times and with clear blue sky behind it was some great viewing, later in the afternoon he was in the south west corner of the meadow visible from the baoardwalk much closer than usual and showing well, so a pretty good day. Sadly there was no sign of him on the meadow when i checked first thing today, but there is still a chance you could pick him up on a visit to Rye Meads.

Other sightings this week have included muntjac, pintail (male), kingfisher, snipe, green sandpiper, redwing and field fare.
This weekend is your last chance to come along and purchase an item from our Nature's Art exhibition as it is ending on sunday. So please stop by and peruse the art even if you don't buy anyhting (although a piece would make a great christmas present for that special someone). There are some stunning photos by Tom Mason Photography and amazing painitings by by wildlife artisits Alan Harris and Steve Kershaw. Don't miss this great oppertunity.
Thanks
Vicky
