We have the first yoga session at the reserve tomorrow - and there is still a couple of spaces!

We are starting a yoga class here at Rainham Marshes as part of our Active in Nature scheme - starting in the visitor centre and when the weather gets warmer we'll be going outside. We have a fabulous platform area at the education zone at the Reedbed Discovery Zone where we can enjoy yoga with the sights and sounds of nature all around us.

Come and join us tomorrow, Sunday 28 February, from 9-10 am and enjoy a Dru Yoga session!

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualization.

Dru Yoga works on the body, mind and spirit to rejuvenate your whole being.

This Dru Yoga class is suitable all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups.

This is part of the Active in Nature scheme here at Rainham Marshes.  The RSPB is encouraging people to enjoy the great outdoors as part of a new partnership with Sport England. The joint venture offers the chance for people to get outside and enjoy running, canoeing, climbing and cycling with wildlife on two RSPB nature reserves. The two-year project, which is aimed at getting people out and active in nature, will see RSPB Rainham Marshes in Essex equipped with cycle hire, guided cycle rides, running clubs, climbing boulders, nature orienteering, yoga and more to help visitors experience wildlife from a different perspective.
