The Aveley Pool has been a good place for waders with wood sandpiper, greenshank, redshank, green sandpiper, common sandpiper, avocet, lapwing, black tailed godwit, snipe and curlew showing nicely. 

The bearded tits are showing nicely - the best place is around near the grit trays.

It's worth keeping an eye out for a variety of butterflies and dragonflies, and look into the ditches for water vole!
