Sorry if it is a bit brief but been a long day and just got... I love the QEII Bridge!

Some sightings: Wednesday 16th October 2019

· RSPB Rainham Marshes: 5 Ring Ouzel, 21 Blackbird, 12 Song Thrush, 187 Redwing, 22 Meadow Pipit, 5 Chiffchaff, 10 Ring necked Parakeet, 6 Chiffchaff , 8 Swallow , 3 Goldcrest, 134 Black tailed Godwit, 3 Curlew, 300 Lapwing, 22 Avocet, Dunlin, 66 Redshank, Ruff, Green Sandpiper, Water Rail, 42 Shelduck, 165 Teal, 24 Pochard, 66 Shoveler, 2 Buzzard, 27 Ring-necked Parakeet, 3 1st winter Caspian Gull

 

The Ouzels were seen from about 10am along the river wall. Picked up four in flight from the centre with a fifth in the woodland. Andy and others encountered two of these in the bushes at the end of the river wall (before Serin Mound) subsequently but they were very elusive
